The pride of the Philippines Manny “Pacman” Paquiao reportedly signed a contract with Hatton, and Ricky Hatton’s camp is now 99% certain that the Pacquiao Hatton fight will go ahead by May of 2009. This will probably be a good fight, since both fighters are known good fighters in the field of boxing.

After the said contract signing of the Filipino boxer, Hatton’s lawyer Gareth Williams is expecting a copy of the contract to be on his hands in Britain early a week after the signing. William said that the contract is already on its way to him and he is confident that it will be all right and everything will be fine.

Reports say that team Pacquiao wanted to renegotiate some financial terms and been the reason of the slow development of the contract. There was some feeling of doubt about the fight when the Filipino boxer was in silent and had not been responding to Hatton’s deadline for the signing. However, the 30 year old champ and currently reigns as the world’s best pound for pound fighter is now reportedly signed the contract and agreed the equal split with Ricky Hatton.

Richard Schaefer the Golden Boy Promotions chief executive who is negotiating on the Mancunian’s behalf is the ones who received the signed contract from team Pacquiao in the Philippines. Because of it, Hatton’s lawyer Gareth Williams said that Richard Schaefer surely got the contract already and he is already 9% sure that the fight will going to happen.

Regarding to the financial issues, Hatton’s team told the press that they never wavered from a 50-50 split, and considered the issues about them having different offers going out as nonsense. The team further added that they are only talking, reached with only one agreement, and didn’t offer for anything else.

Gareth Williams further said on Thursday January 22, 2009 that as for the time being, the Pacqiao-Hatton fight was dead in the water. However, the appearance of the signed contracts has forced them to reconsider. On the other hand, on Friday January 23, 2009, Pacquiao’s promoter the Top Rank had declared that the match was back on.

When the team Pacquiao did not yet sign the contract, the Golden Boy promotions already had started negotiations to some possible alternative opponents for Ricky Hatton and that include Oscar de la Hoya and Floyd Mayweather Jr.

However, sports enthusiast especially to boxing fans and the fans of Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton will have to worry no more and must ne excited already because the fight is already back on and is 99 percent possibly to happen this coming May of 2009. Surely, it will going to be another remarkable fight for both fighters for they both are reputable and known fighters worldwide. They maybe of different age and have different level of expertise, it will surely be a good fight. This fight will surely be another fight for Manny Pacquiao to prove that he deserves the title of being the pound for pound fighter in the world and for Ricky Hatton to prove that he has the ability to beat the Pacman. See How Easily You Can Skateboard Like a Pro

Even if you don’t become the next Tony Hawk, a multi-millionaire with video games featuring you as the main character, you can learn how to skateboard like a pro. It is not impossible as long as you have a clear understanding of what you are getting into, and how long it could take. You can’t be impatient if you want to be at the top level of any activity, whether sports, career or hobby.

If you happen to love skateboarding, and really are committed to doing whatever it takes to skateboard like a pro, or possibly even become one, then read the following steps. There is no magic to it, and there really are no secrets either. And to clear up any possible understanding about the headline, you can easily see how to skateboard like a pro, as the title says. There are plenty of books and websites to show you, and it’s easy to collect as many printed or “virtual” lessons as you need to get going with your practice. However, it will not be easy to succeed at it, because anything good (and hard to do) takes time.

Now, it would take many thousands of pages of writing and diagrams to teach you the 180 ollie, a shifty ollie, a frontside 360 and all the other moves. You can get all of that information at your own speed, and when you’re ready. For now, we’re talking about the basic action steps and attitudes that will get you a solid start. And this much is true, also, that the more disciplined, motivated and passionate you are, the easier it will seem. Even when you’re doing hard work, you don’t mind as much when you are sold out on the goal you’re working toward.

Action steps to pro skateboarding

Practice – Sure, it should go without saying, but in this day and age people seem to think that reading “a” book or watching “one” skater video is all it takes. The fact is that it takes practice, practice, and more practice. And after all that practice, you have to do one more thing – practice some more. You should skate to work, skate to school and back, hit the skateboard parks as much as possible and take your board with your at all times. You should be prepared to get in some skate time anywhere that skateboarding is allowed.

Safety – Pros are smart enough to protect their heads and limbs. You must always wear a helmet and pads (knees, elbows, perhaps gloves, too). Since you are on a mission, you will be excited at what you’re doing and may forget that the major part of learning is making mistakes. Remember, making mistakes when learning pro skateboarding techniques means falling down. Since you’re going to experiment and try all kinds of new things, your need to protect yourself.

Watch videos, and make them, too – There are tons of YouTube clips and skateboarding videos to watch and study. Every one of the top pro skateboarders has videos, lots of them. While you’re learning all the moves, have a friend videotape what you’re doing so you can study yourself. Keep making videos as your skills keep getting better. Eventually, you may need to hire a real camera pro and editor so you can start posting your own clips online.

Attitude steps count, too

Have fun – You skateboard because you love it, right? If you are motivated by anything other than serious love of the board, you won’t make it to the top. And if that serious love of the board doesn’t have a big component of fun in it, you won’t make it even halfway. You won’t become a top skateboarder because you want a glamour life traveling around the world on your sponsor’s credit card. The joy in what you do, whatever it is, is infectious, and if you start moving up the ranks, it can make you really attractive to those sponsors.

First things first – Again, it seems like a no-brainer, but if you don’t have your priorities in order, you won’t make it. Practice, board knowledge, proper safety, correct exercise routines, healthy diet, clean living – all of this is part of the pro skater package. Keep things in order, and don’t forget that the only discipline that works is self-discipline. No one can do this for you, or give you what you have to practice for. The only way is hard work.

Stay balanced – Despite the fact that it is a hard road full of hard work and long hours and road rash and ankle sprains, you still have to keep balanced. Having fun, loving what you do, working hard, staying on track – all of these seemingly different things really can work together and get you where you want to go. It’s not easy to accomplish your dream, but it is easy enough to find out what to do. The difference with winners, as opposed to quitters, is that the winners take the difficulties as challenges to overcome, not obstacles to bounce off of.

Is it really you?

If you are really cut out to be a pro skater, you will be able to tackle all these steps and still be cool, still be yourself. Being centered and balanced, with family and friends behind you, is a powerful combination for success. These are the things that will help you in the long run and keep you going when times get hard, you become exhausted or you encounter new troubles along the way.

If you do start getting good, and standing out from the crowd skating around you, acting like you’re “all that” and being rude will only make you enemies. No matter how great your skateboarding skills become, there are always others who are just as good or better, so keep your ego in check. This is often difficult for young people who are also facing a lot of life changes during their teens and early 20s.

The bottom line is that you can learn to do anything you set your mind to, but you first have to find out if it’s “in your blood.” It needs to be more important than any other goal or activity if you want to work your way to the top of the pro ranks, and that’s true in business, entertainment and sports. For skateboarders working their way up, there will be dozens of moves to master, terms to know and techniques of their own to develop. With hard work and persistence, you really can do it.

Steven Gerrard is September’s PFA 2UP Fan’s Player of the month along with Kightly, Beckford and Thorne
The Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard is September’s PFA 2UP Fan’s Player of the month. Even though the game has started late for Stevie G because of his injury,  the England international still managed to be in the second place in the Premier League table. Gerrard’s surprising strike in the first leg against PSV Eindhoven has proven of his performance returning to top form.
If we can recall, Liverpool’s club captain announced last September that Gerrard id only 70 to 80 percent fit from his groin injury but is already playing. Now that Gerrard is already backing at almost 100 percent to top form, Manchester must watch out.
Being the 16th Liverpool player who scored 100 goals for the club, Gerrard’s manager Rafa Benitez paid tribute to him and is expecting of him to continue and go for the 200 goals. Being one of the best offensive midfielder for the club, Gerrard is expected to give more score for them in the future.
According to the PFA deputy executive Mick McGuire, Gerrard is a man that needs not to be introduced. With this season, Gerrard had scored two goals in the Cahmpions League fixture versus Marseille. In addition, with their game versus Middlesbrough, Gerrard did a stunning shot from outside the penalty area. With these performances, Steven Gerrard is simply an excellent player.
Along with Gerrard, Michael Kightly got the fan’s player award in the championship. He, together with fellow wing wizard Matt Jarvis, became largely responsible for Wolves’ great start to the season.
However, it is very unfortunate for manager Mick McCarthy with his both star players Kightly and Jarvis who have both picked up hamstring injuries and will be missed badly, although Kightly will be out from the game not as long as with his pal.
Despite of being the most in demand player by a number of Premier League clubs during the summer, Kightly managed to sign a new four-year deal with Wolves and has already rewarded the team with eye-catching displays and goals with this season.
Another winner for this season is last year’s overall winner Jermaine Beckford is now the League One Player of the Month, again proving to be this season’s main man for Leeds.
According to the team’s boss, Jermaine produces a bit of magic in just a split second, which made them keep on emphasizing to Jermaine how far he can go and what more he can achieve.
For the last two years, Beckford was playing non-league football, during the last season he bagged over 20 goals, and manager Gary McAllister is hoping for Beckford to maintain such kind of performance.
Finally, Peter Thorne is awarded as the Fan’s Player of the month for League 2. Thorne at the age of 35 is still doing great fro his team Bradford, and did an impressive goal every two games ratio. Aside from Bradford, Thorne also did score goals consistently for his previous clubs like the Swindon, Cardiff, and Stoke and is still doing the same great things for the Bantams.

Ronaldinho, a former star for Barcelona is now joining Italian’s big names in football, the AC Milan. If you think it’s just a dream, you are not dreaming. It’s for real. For the coming 2008-09 English Premier League season, Ronaldinho will no longer be playing for the Manchester City, but instead for the AC Milan in the Italian Serie A.
After having many injuries, Ronaldinho’s hoping to have a fresh start with AC Milan, as he tries to help the team in bringing home the title to the San Siro. Ronaldinho will be teamed up with another known Brazilian footballer Kaka who happens to be the 2007 FIFA World Player of the Year. The two players will be joining forces for AC Milan’s success, which remains to be seen.
As of the moment, the Italian giants in football, AC Milan, are very excited to introduce their newly acquired football star, and one Thursday, Ronaldinho was officially introduce to the AC Milan fans who were as excited as the team. After realizing that he is no longer welcomed in Barcelona, the Brazilian footballer is happy about his transfer, and he confirmed that he strongly wanted to join AC Milan. Now that he finally arrived to AC Milan, Rodaldinho is very happy and delighted and is hoping to bring joy and happiness to everyone.

I am happy with Ronaldinho’s success. I have already seen him playing since 2002 at the FIFA World Cup and he is truly amazing. For those who are not familiar with him, he is a 28 year old footballer from Porto Alegre, Brazil. Ronaldo de Assis Moreira is Ronaldinho’s real name. Aside form playing for various teams, Ronaldinho is also a member of the Brazil National Team, wherein he contributed a lot for their bronze win over Belgium.
Ronaldinho’s Football career started out with the Gremio youth squad. Then in 1998 Copa Libertadores, is when he made his senior side debut. It was in 2001 that Arsenal F.C. expressed an interest in signing Ronaldinho. July 19, 2003 was the time when FC Barcelona acquired Ronaldinho for the amount of £21 million. After the acquisition, Ronaldinho made his team debut with a friendship game against A.C. Milan at the RFK Stadium in Washington D.C., wherein he did score one goal in a 2-0 victory. In 2004-05, Ronaldinho got his first league title as the FIFA World Player of the Year. After the 2004-05 season, Ronaldinho started to collect awards like his win as the inaugural FIFPro World Player of the Year in September 2005, which is an addition to being one of the players in the FIFPro World XI. Aside from that, he is also named as the European Footballer of the year, and also was the third-ever Brazilian Ballon d’Or winner. With 956 points, Ronaldinho was again named as the FIFA World Player of the year. In January 2007, for the third straight time, Ronaldinho was again named among the UEFA Team of the Year.
At present, when Ronaldinho joined the Italian giants A.C. Milan, he chooses 80 as his jersey number after discovering that 10 was already occupied by teammate Clarence Seedorf. Hockey Skates , online games

The Green Bay Packers still looking for their two starting guards

The Green Bay Packers – still looking for their two starting guards
Green Bay Packer guard players Marco Rivera and Mike Wahle left the town after the 2004 season. Since then, the team is already in search for their new guards. As of today, Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy still don’t have any timetable on naming his starters for the year. Because of this, the team’s three remaining preseason games are critical. This problem already normal for the team, however, possible solutions are on the way, and one of these is about the third-year player Jason Spitz is though not yet clear where is likely to start.
The team is trying to figure out on who are their best five, according to the Packer’s quarterback Aaron Rodgers, and he is sure that they have already figured out three of them and is going to try to get the last two spots. Quarterback Rodgers is confident that filling the vacant spot is going to be good since, they have four or five people working for it. Starting mentions Chad Clifton and Mark Tauscher are the foundations of the team, and center Scott Wells seems to be firm, considering that his back injury won’t strike again. While they are considering their starting five on the offensive line makes their NFL success critical, their can be an upside to competition. If ever a starter injured in the middle of the season, all the rest of the line will have already played together with his replacement.
As a third-round pick out of Louisville in 2006, Spitz has already started 25 games in the last two regular seasons. He has been expected to start as a right guard, however, he spent time being on the center while Wells was injured and is now spending time working as a left guard in the teams present practice. Spitz is sure of starting, however even he himself don’t have any idea as to where he will start. Spitz is really hoping to be on the starting line-up, however he really can’t control as to who goes to where. All he can do is to play well in every game and is really doing his best.
On the other hand, another packer great player Colledge has started 15 games as a rookie having the first 12 games being on the left guard during the last season. However, later this year Colledge has been sent off to bench late in the year. During the playoffs, Colledge had his job back but was never sure about this year. Colledge also wanted to be one of the five guys in the starting line-up. However, he don’t know the reason why he is not one of them.

Barbe is another player is another player being on the list to start, and according to him he is confident enough of himself and the players as well. While Sitton, a rookie is one more name that we have heard being on the list. Being the fourth round pick out of Central Florida, Sitton is one of the biggest surprises.
Coach McCarthy wanted to keep SItton on the right side and Barbre on the left. water ionizer

Kurt Warner will start in Kansas City

Kurt Warner wasn’t able to play in the first preseason game, and now that the quarterback is about to start the Arizona Cardinal’s second preseason matchup, coach Ken Whisenhunt was thinking of letting Warner to start in Kansas City over Matt Leinart a veteran quarterback of the Arizona Cardinals. Whisenhunt wanted to make sure that Kurt gets some time with the ones, without worrying of whether it is in the second quarter or even later, and the best thing to do in order to control that is to start Kurt in the game. However, coach Whisenhunt said that they haven’t decided yet how long their offensive lines is going, and so we do not have any idea yet of how the playing time will play out.
With this decision of Coach Ken Whisenhunt, Kurt is as expected pleased with the development after patiently sitting out the New Orleans game. Kurt fell fortunate about the coach’s decision, and he was informed from the very first day that it is a competition. Kurt felt the fair treatment of Coach Ken with reps in practice and with what had happened is why he felt fortunate. According to Kurt, he has been into other difficult situations already, and he believe and treat it as a competition, no matter if it is six plays, 10 plays, 20 plays, it doesn’t matter to him. Kurt’s possibility of starting seems impossible not until a few days when he was asked by the coaches to sit the Saint’s game to allow Leinart extended playing time. At present, Warner has given about equal first-team reps in practice with Leinart. Warner find it difficult for not playing in the opener, and it makes him feel more excited of his start. Warner said that he do not have any idea if they will go one and one. The only thing he is sure is that he is ready for his reps whenever they come, however they may come and how many they are.
Warner is happy to work with Coach Ken’s timetable and is not expecting to play a long time, and he is expecting for Leinart to work with the first unit offensive line. However, according to Leinart, Warner would be a starter when the quarterbacks had at least an idea. Leinart is expecting for Warner to do the same in the second preseason game as the first, wherein Warner completed 7-of-8 passes. Leinart is also sure that he will get a little more play time in Kansas City, and wanted to continuously get better. Nintendo DSi News
According to Coach Ken Whisenhunt, he had thought both Warner and Leinhart looked sharp during their practice, and he had a feeling that the quarterback position will be one of the Card’s strongest camps. Aside from Warner and Leinhart, third-string candidates Brian St. Pierre and Anthony Morelli are also into Ken’s consideration. However in the end, it is the battle between Warner and Leinart who will grab the headlines.
Warner feels great with the situation and keeps on preparing for the season.

Indian Athlete Abhinav Bindra – gold medalist for 10m Air Rifle

India’s first gold medalist shooter Abhinav Bindra proves himself that he deserves to rank among those gold winner athletes from China and the United States who are dominantly garnering the gold Olympic medals. August 11, 2008, the third day of the 2008 Beijing Olympics was a memorable day for Bindra because of his gold medal win for the Men’s 10m Air Rifle, being on his best during the final round, and got a total score of 700.5.

Following Bindra on silver was the former gold medalist at the 2004 Olympics in Athens Greece, Zhu Qinan from China, with a total score of 699.7. Next in bronze was the Finnish athlete Henri Hakkinen, who was leading at first, but after the qualification round, he already cannot prevent Bindra and Zhu from winning and finally making it to the finals. Hakkinen made a total score of 699.4. It was really a close fight among the three athletes, as you can see with their scores it was just a few points away form each other.

During the qualification round, Hakkinen leads the competition with a score 598, followed by Zhu Qinan with 597, and Bindra followed as the third placer with a score of 596 points. However, Bindra starting to prove himself with his first shot with a score of 10.7 followed by some more others without a score of below 10. As the game continues and they are now a few steps for the final, Bindra and Hakkinen are on a tie position, which is later got by Bindra after showing off his best.

Going on to Bindra’s bios, this gold medalist from India was from Zirakpur Mohali, Punjab in India. Part of his early childhood, Abhinav was a member of an wealthy Sikh family. To prove that statement, Bindra’s parents Dr. Apjit and Babli Bindra, are promoters of the Hitech Group of companies, with a turnover of Rs 300 crores or $75 million, with interests in agro and dog food processing, computer gaming, livestock genetics, and pharmaceuticals. Because of all this wealth, Brindas parents was able to sent him to Don school, Dehradun and after that to St. Stephens School, Chandigarh, and later earned his BBA from the University of Colorado.
Talking about his shooting career, Bindra’s was first spotted by his first coach Lt. Col. J.S. Dhillon. However, right now, his current coach is Gabriela Buhlmann from Basel Switzerland and trained him in Germany before the Olympics starts.

Before playing for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Bindra already had won six medals for various international meets in 2001. It was in 2002 that he won Gold in the Pairs event at the 2002 Manchester Commonwealth Games, and he won silver for the individual event. During the 2004 Olympics, Bindra scored 597 in the qualification round, wherein he was the third placer behind Qinan Zhu who scored 599 and Li Jie at 598. During the finals he finished with 97.6 points. He was then last of eight fields and was the only player below 100 points.

Bindra also won Gold in the Pairs events, and bronze at the singles event at the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games, and he missed the 2006 Asian Games at Doha due to his back injury. And now, he is lucky enough to be one of the Gold medalists at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
