Today I have the joy of you in the 2nd Part of our Team Rider Series Yvonne Langner present. Yvonne is on Boost Sports as for Teamrider Snowboarding on board. But in the Hamburg flat land by Yvonne’s always something to Riden, from the horse to the skateboard is not safe from their flow. Boost: How it brought you to Hamburg? Is not exactly ideal for snowboarding.
Yvonne: It was simply the desire for something new … a new city, new people … and new challenges, of course. My steady job in Dresden I had canceled in order to make the technician training in Hamburg and start a new career. In the two and a half years that I now live in the most beautiful city in the world, I know a lot of new people learned … and it’s getting exciting!
I went snowboarding for the last five years with Wild and Style, a Hamburg snowboard club in winter sports camps to France … Val Cenis, La Toussuire, valoir, Val Thorens, La Grande Domaine … the first time even on skis. After eight years with two boards under his feet it was time they exchange them for a snowboard. I made the decision in La Toussuire while I was completely frustrated me and dig my skis out of the deep snow … Completely exhausted and with proper sourpuss mood I then dragged myself back onto the track.
Oh yeah … once you go in Austria or France Alps was spurned you lower mountains. So Hamburg for winter sports is just so bad … haha … no distance is too far!
Boost: Skiing has changed quite a bit in recent years: better material, more style, cool people. Try on you up again at two boards?
Yvonne: Definitely not … * laughs * … the fun of snowboarding is just too big. And I can still learn a lot. Of a “perfect” snowboarder I’m still far away. Only days a year on the board are really rare. The reason why I now Longboard have risen .
Boost: What have you done for this winter season?
Yvonne: I will of course again to rock with Wild Style and Mountains of France to improve my technique, learn more tricks to celebrate and a lot of fun. Although I love my Fate, I’m going down for a second board. Just as it looks, it will probably be the Feelgood Burton:)
The Fate of Nitro is a little hard (Flex 3), but an ingenious ALL MOUNTAIN board with freestyle ambitions. After extensive ties unscrewing and testing I found the ideal for me as of goofy 15 ° / -9 ° … just freestyle.
Boost: Why are you on to boost sports board?
Yvonne: First was the chance * grin *. One evening, I learned Denis and Uli in Aurelius (Hamburg Ottensen) know. The chemistry was simple. It cool party evenings, BBQ sessions followed at the River Elbe and now are common routes added to the longboard. With the people together to indulge his passions, to exchange and to be infected with something new I find brilliant. Reason enough to come on board!
For almost a month I am the proud owner of a Loaded Dervish. This nonsense I have to thank Denis … and it makes a hell of fun. Last weekend I was on the way to the Beach Club, a group longboarders Thunder Park in Altona in his arms. After a delicious cocktail at the port drove me back to the bees in the butt in the park Fortunately the guys were still there. It was followed by a night tour: Port St. … Pauli Venusberg warehouse district … … go to Alster bridge. At each spot were added more boarders. Finally, rolled about 20 people through the streets of Hamburg!
Um … I currently have a “beginner’s disease” did not keep the feet still: ankle inflammation caused by overloading. What happens when you drive until it is no longer simply about. But never mind … I just indulging my second passion and take photos of the skate-and long boarders at their spots and waiting impatiently for the day when I can climb the board again * laughs * … Voooorfreude is as effervescent powder in the stomach.
