Ricco: “The cycling world disgusts me”

“The cycling world disgusts me, I hurt.” By these words announced Riccardo Ricco their desire not to return to cycling, at least as a professional cyclist. The Italian says in an interview that he wants to “run again” after being expelled of his now former team, the Vacansoleil.

“Everybody disgusts me. Stop when I looked back. Now we have: Ricco has stopped. Leave me alone.” This forceful showed the runner in an interview with the Italian half, which confirmed that, at present, has no plans to return to compete again.

Ricco is still awaiting trial for possible doping case after having made himself a Autologous blood. “I wish it was over quickly, but I think it will go on and on. CONI will punish me and everything will be over, that’s what they wanted,” he says.

The rider is determined to spend more time with his family. “I have more friends outside the sport that people can imagine. I have my family and a son. I will take care of them. I’m tired and I hate the world of cycling more. It is better to have a basic job and earn 1,000 per month and have less things to worry about, “he concludes.
