Vettel extended his contract with Red Bull until the end of 2014

Sebastian Vettel , reigning world champion in Formula 1, has extended his contract with Red Bull until the end of 2014, as reported by the Austrian team through a statement.

The Germans, aged 23, had a contract with Chris Horner until the end of 2012 and now has extended for two more seasons to be bound by what Red Bull is secured one of the talents of the ‘big tent’ til 2014.

Vettel l cam in the structure of Red Bull since 1998 , when he began to join the junior team. In 2008 he became the youngest driver to win a great prize and last season the youngest world champion crowned Formula 1.

However, his debut in Formula 1 was driving a BMW-Sauber at the Grand Prix of the United States, 2007, replacing Poland’s Robert Kubica following his accident at the Canadian Grand Prix, but in the same season passed into the ranks of Toro Rosso, ‘subsidiary’ of Red Bull, achieving fourth place in China.

The following year, confirmed all the predictions about his talent and took the Italian Grand Prix, becoming the youngest to get it on the Formula 1 World Championship, snatching at 21 years, that record the Spanish Fernando Alonso.

In 2009, it became an official wheel of Red Bull and finished runner-up behind Jenson Button (BrawnGP)

Germany had the contract at the end of 2012. Red Bull has made public the new economic world champion.
